Wavo Health allows you to easily manage your clinical notes (also referred to as encounters) by deleting them when no longer needed.
Important: Deleted notes cannot be recovered. Please double-check before confirming deletion to avoid losing important information.
How to Delete a Single Note
You can delete a note either from the encounters list or while viewing the note itself.
From the encounters sidebar:
Open the encounters sidebar (the panel listing all your encounters/notes).
Locate the note you want to delete.
Tap or click the three dots (⋯) next to the note.
Select Delete from the menu.
Confirm the deletion.
From inside the note:
Open the specific encounter/note.
Tap or click the three dots (⋯) in the top-right corner.
Select Delete.
Confirm the deletion.
How to Delete Multiple Notes (Bulk Deletion)
Wavo Health offers powerful bulk deletion features to help you efficiently manage large numbers of notes, including options for selecting by count—ideal for handling 900+ notes.
Entering Selection Mode:
Go to the encounters sidebar (the main list of all your encounters).
At the top of the sidebar, tap or click the three dots (⋯).
Select Enter Selection Mode (this enables multi-select).
Once active, a selection bar appears at the bottom with controls for managing selections.
Selecting Notes:
Individual Notes: Tap the checkboxes next to each note. The selection bar shows your count.
Select All Visible: Tap Select All Visible in the selection bar to grab all on-screen notes.
Select by Count (Recommended for Large Deletions): Tap Select by Count in the selection bar. Use quick buttons (e.g., 50, 100, 200, 500) or enter a custom number to select the most recent notes (newest first). Click Select.
Deleting Selected Notes:
Review the count in the selection bar.
Tap the red Delete Selected button (trash icon).
Confirm in the dialog.
Keyboard Shortcut: Press Delete or Backspace to trigger the confirmation.
During Deletion: A loading notification shows progress (e.g., "Deleting X note(s)...") and updates on completion—perfect for large batches.
Selection Bar Features
Status: Displays selected count or "No items selected."
Controls: Select All Visible, Select by Count, Clear Selection.
Actions: Delete Selected; Assign to Patient (up to 10 notes).
Tips for Managing Notes
Use bulk deletion regularly: Great for drafts, tests, or old notes.
Use "Select by Count" for large cleanups: Efficient for hundreds of notes without scrolling.
Double-check selections: Always review the selection bar.
Keyboard shortcuts: Speed up with Delete/Backspace.
