Customize Your Settings in Wavo

Wavo’s Settings page lets you personalize your workspace, recording preferences, document behavior, and optional note tabs.

Where to find Settings

Open Wavo and go to Settings from the sidebar or account menu.

Preferences

Specialty

Choose your clinical specialty so Wavo can better personalize your experience. Use the dropdown to search for and select your specialty.

Appearance

Choose how Wavo looks on your device:

  • Light

  • Dark

  • System

System mode follows your device’s current appearance setting.

Language

Use the language dropdown to change the app language.


Editor Font

Choose the font used inside the clinical note editor. This can help improve readability and accessibility while reviewing or editing notes.

Available options include:

  • Inter: the default editor font

  • Raleway

  • Atkinson Hyperlegible: designed for improved legibility

  • Verdana

  • System: uses your device’s default interface font

Changing this setting only affects the clinical note editor text.


Recording

Microphone

On desktop, you can choose your preferred microphone for recordings and transcriptions.

Select Microphone, then choose the device you want Wavo to use.

Recording Storage

Choose how long Wavo should keep audio recordings after processing:

  • Standard storage

  • Auto-delete after 7 days

  • Auto-delete after 30 days

  • Auto-delete after processing

This setting helps you control how recordings are retained after your notes are generated.


Documents

Encounter Title Format

Choose how Wavo names new encounters:

  • Generated Titles: Wavo creates a title based on the encounter content.

  • Numbered Titles: Wavo uses numbered titles, such as “Encounter 1,” “Encounter 2,” and so on.


Sidebar Tabs

You can choose which optional tabs appear after a note is processed.

Insights

Shows AI-generated conversation insights.

Actions

Shows AI-identified action points from the encounter.

Coding

Shows value-based care coding suggestions.


Do settings save automatically?

Yes. Most settings save automatically when you change them. Some settings may apply immediately, while others may appear the next time you open or process a note.
