The Chrome extension is a side panel. It loads your Wavo workspace next to the page you already use. This is for Chrome on a computer. It is not the iPhone or Android app.
Install the extension
Open Google Chrome.
Open the Chrome Web Store and search for Wavo Health.
Click Add to Chrome.
Pin the extension if you want the Open Wavo Health icon visible in the toolbar.
Connect Wavo
Click the Wavo icon, or open the Chrome side panel and choose Wavo Health.
Sign in with the same Wavo account you use on the web.
Allow microphone access when Chrome asks. The extension needs the mic to record visits.
You only need to connect once on that browser. If you are signed out, connect again.
Use Wavo next to your EMR
Open your EMR (or any clinical page) in Chrome.
Open the Wavo side panel.
Start a New Encounter in the panel.
Capture the visit as you normally would on the web: ambient recording, pause/resume, or dictation.
Review the note in the panel, then Copy All and paste into the EMR.
You can keep documenting in Wavo while the EMR stays on screen.
Microphone access
Chrome may ask for the microphone twice: once for the website, and once when the side panel records. Allow both.
If recording will not start, see Troubleshooting Microphone Permission Issues, then reopen the side panel.
What the extension does not replace
The native Wavo Health iOS and Android apps, for capturing in the room
Organization billing and template building (use the full website if the panel feels tight)
