What is Wavo Health, and how does it work?

Wavo Health is an AI-powered clinical ambient scribe that listens during patient encounters and automatically generates structured clinical notes.

To use Wavo:

  1. Start an encounter before or during your visit

  2. Speak naturally with your patient (or dictate directly)

  3. Review, edit, and approve the AI-generated note

You can then copy or export the final note into your EMR. This workflow significantly reduces the time spent on manual documentation.

What makes Wavo different from other AI scribes?

Wavo combines several capabilities into a single workflow:

  • Patient dashboard
View all past encounters for a patient in one place to support continuity of care.

  • Structured data extraction
Key clinical details are organized automatically for easier review and follow-up.

  • AI Assistant
Ask questions about a specific encounter or a patient’s history (for example, “Summarize this patient’s past diagnoses”).

Together, these features help clinicians go beyond transcription and quickly access meaningful clinical insights.

How secure is my data with Wavo?

Data security and privacy are core priorities for Wavo Health.

  • All data is encrypted in transit and at rest

  • Wavo complies with applicable privacy and data protection laws in each region

  • Patient data is never used to train AI models

AI models are trained only on publicly available medical knowledge—not customer data.

Where is my data stored?

Wavo stores data regionally:

  • United States: data remains in the U.S.

  • Canada: data remains in Canada

All data is securely processed in the cloud and stored in compliance with regional privacy regulations.

  • Formatting (paragraphs, bullet points, or mixed)

Settings auto-save and apply to all future notes. Wavo can also learn from your edits over time and automatically apply your preferences.
